DRAMA ON ELT'S ASSIGNMENT
Researchers focus on three male Pasifika students selected from a year 10 social studies class. Researcher and the boys used a prop to signal their entry into the fictional role, which help to maintain and reinforce the fictional safety of the drama world. In each session different resources were required as stimuli or clues for the investigation. In this journal, Students selected their own names and roles in the classroom and they did drama. During the drama they did like actor and they are happy because they can be free to express and convey opinions, suggestions, etc. They are relaxed during the drama. The researcher conclude values and represents the student voice, to help build a complete picture of how education affects students’ sense of identity and their ability to succeed. By listening to students, perhaps we can create an education system that respects their interests, and questions and helps them to achieve their goals—whatever they may be.
